How To Obtain Certification in
Biblical Counseling from NANC
Using Tapes from IBCD

 
Certification Process
  1. Call NANC at 317-337-9100 and ask them to send you an application packet, or download one from their website at www.nanc.org.

  2. Order the following two courses from IBCD on DVDs, CDs or tapes. See our Resource Catalog for prices and order form.

    • Introduction to Biblical Counseling Course
    • Marriage & Family Counseling Course

  3. The rest of your requirements will be done through NANC. These are: two written exams, ten to twenty hours of observation (This can be done with a Biblical counselor in your area, or by viewing videotapes. Call Kurt Larson at NANC for information.) and fifty hours of supervised counseling.
 

 

Suggested Reading

NANC does not require you to do the homework for IBCD's courses, but they strongly encourage you to read at least 800-1,000 pages from the following texts.
