You're Invited to the IBCD Spring Seminar 2010
![]() March 13 from 9am-4pm at Grace Bible Church, Escondido, CA 92025
We all love formulas. We love the certainty of knowing that 2 + 2 always equals 4. No guesswork here. No faith needed, no trials either; just a formula. We love formulas because they make us think we're in control and that we can handle whatever life throws our way. And, when it comes to parenting, we really love formulas. If someone could just come up with a fool-proof plan, we know that we'd be able to follow it to a tee. The problem, of course, is that our children are not mathematical equations or chemical formulations. They're unique individuals with unique hearts who worship and respond in unique ways. Formulas don't work and even worse, they can produce a counterfeit faith in our ability to shape a human heart. Rather than searching unsuccessfully for the perfect formula, why not attend a seminar that will help you increase your faith in the faithfulness of a loving Father who does know how to change the heart and make us (and our children) love Him.
